His marriage to Gwen Stefani is rumoured to have ended after she uncovered his alleged affair with their nanny Mindy Mann.
And Gavin Rossdale has apparently hired a new nanny, who accompanied the Bush rocker, 50, and 20-month-old son Apollo to lunch in Brentwood on Tuesday as it emerged he is no longer in contact with Mindy.
The rocker has not commented publicly on the split because he is 'trying to take the high road' a source told E! News, adding that he no longer talks to the former nanny, who is laying low.
'Gavin hasn't spoken about her, and I don't think they've spoken in a while,' the pal told E! News.
And while Mindy was often spotted copying Gwen's style, the new nanny dressed down in a chunky sweater and black UGGs, and looked no-nonsense while out with Gavin and his youngest son.
The musician wore a chambray shirt, black pants and black cross-body bag while holding young Apollo's hand.
Gavin and No Doubt singer Gwen, who is now dating her fellow The Voice judge Blake Shelton, split after 13 years of marriage earlier this year.
Gwen recently admitted the end of their marriage was 'unexpected.'
It has since emerged that Gavin was allegedly cheating on Gwen for three years with their young, blonde nanny Mindy Mann, who looked after Apollo and his brothers Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven.
Us Weekly claimed that the affair was uncovered after another of the couples' nannies discovered nude photos of Mindy and sexual texts and brought them to Gwen's attention.
While Gavin at first dismissed their texts as 'flirtation,' he allegedly eventually confessed to adultery months later.
