Doctors knew this might happen when Lamar Odom was first admitted to a Las Vegas hospital after an overdose, and now the long road to recovery for the former NBA star takes another turn.
According to reports, Odom is in "rough shape" with communication and mobility, and source are saying that he apparently can't even recognize his own family members at this point.
Doctors are fearful of significant brain damage in the basketball star in addition to his other health problems, especially since little progress has been made in the last few weeks.
Lamar has allegedly been
having a tough time speaking, doesn't seem to know family and friends when they come to visit, and seems "empty" at times, according to the reports.
It's now been more than a month since Odom was hospitalized — he was found unresponsive at a brothel in Nevada on October 13 — and the long road to regain his motor skills and speech must now continue in earnest.
