Republican party hopeful and leading candidate in the polls across the US has shared his thoughts concerning what his party opponent Jeb Bush said which was actually in Spanish...
On Tuesday, the businessman's opponent, Jeb Bush , shared his sentiments on his fellow Republican in Spanish, saying:
"El hombre no es conservador."
This means he's saying he doesn't feel Donald is a conservative man. But when the former Celebrity Apprentice host responded to the remark on Wednesday, he didn't address the claims that he wasn't a conservative candidate. Instead, he aimed his attack on the language Jeb chose to use, saying:
"I like Jeb. He's a nice man. But he should
really set the example by speaking English
while in the United States."
Ummmmm. What example is that? That languages and cultures different from your own aren't accepted? Well, it turns out on Thursday that the 69-year-old was asked to explain what he meant. And his reason, unsurprisingly, isn't that great:
"Well I think that when you get right down to it, we're a nation that speaks English. I think that while we're in this nation we should be speaking English. Whether people like it or not, it's how we assimilate."
Assimilate??? This is just all sorts of offensive .
