Nicole Kidman suffers epic make up failure.....horrible

Nicole Kidman suffered a serious make-up faux pas when she arrived to collect an award for excellence in film on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

The 47-year-old was pictured with a heavy powder all over her face at the Women In Film Crystal & Lucy Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, as the light picked up the pigments in the make-up. 

Her nose and cheeks were the biggest problem areas, with the pale powder standing out against her darker skin tone. It's not the first time Nicole has had a calamity with her cosmetics and in 2009, she famously attended the premiere of her new movie, Nine with a similar problem.

It seemed as though her make-up artist hadn't blended her cosmetics perfectly as loose white face powder was clearly visible on her nose and under her eyes. 

But while her make-up may have raised a few eyebrows, Nicole's outfit was certainly turning heads. 

She showed off her slim physique in a designer dress made from black sequins interspersed with brightly coloured ones.
