I quite agree with, although to some people it doesn't matter but deep down we all want to be loved by someone, even the osamas or shekaus of this world wants to be loved.
Some people want to be loved by many while others just want one person to love them. what kind of love are you showing to your partner? all he/she requires is to be loved by that one person that even if everybody turns their backs on them they can always count on that one person to have their backs.
Be the kind of lover that your partner would be proud of, love your boo and show it be proud of your boo and let he/she be able to count on you for love care and support no matter the condition.
In summary understand your partner and do that thing she loves or at least pretend, it could the movies, music or the kind of food she likes just pretend to like it to please her/him  and watch the happiness. It pays to show your love, it won't cost you much.
